Our summer concert usually takes place on the final Saturday of our summer course.

What a really motivational workshop for the children! Olivia had lots of fun. Thank you for arranging. As parents of an existing NCC member, the Exeter workshop lived up to our very high expectations.

We had previously witnessed Suzzie Vango – plus the amazing NCC pianist – conducting the Blue Choir on the final day of the NCC 2017 Easter course in Shrewsbury. Our daughter returned home from Shrewsbury a changed person following her week singing with the NCC, it had been a truly transformative experience.

The NCC song workshop in Exeter proved that with inspirational teaching and inspired piano accompaniment, even the youngest of children will perform well beyond their normal boundaries, resulting in very high levels of cohesion and contribution.

I just wanted to say very BIG thank for inviting Suzzie Vango to run a workshop with DCJC. It was absolutely wonderful to watch the children on the day. They were so engaged and full of enjoyment. The singing and rhythms were running through their bodies and it was pure joy to share in the fun. It was electrifying! Maria Clara has been singing the songs at home and at school with her friend Lola. We hope this is just the beginning of more workshops with Suzzie and DCJC. Please let us know what you might need from us parents to help you continue to bring these exciting opportunities in the near future. Thank you very much again to you and Suzzie for your commitment and enthusiasm to making singing so enjoyable and such an important part of life.

My 8-year old daughter attended this workshop and brought along a friend who hadn’t sung in a choir before. They both had a wonderful time singing, participating and laughing and made some friends too. We felt so lucky to have been informed about this. The performance at the end was fabulous. We were really impressed – they had even learnt all the words. The children sang confidently and clearly having so much fun. Thank you!
